Today, we dive into the heart of Mendoza, getting to know its premier wine-growing areas. We start the tour visiting Bodega Alta Vista , one of the largest family-owned wineries in Argentina. Alta Vista´s mission as ¨Terroir Expression Winemakers¨ is to illustrate the very best expression of the different Argentine terroirs. Through their groundbreaking work with terroir and varietal management, Alta Vista became the first Argentinean winery to produce and compare several single vineyard Malbec wines, each representing the unique characteristics of their four Mendoza vineyards.

Next stop will be at Bodega Pulenta Estate, one of our favorite´s wineries. Owned and run by Hugo and Eduardo Pulenta, the brothers' philosophy is expressed thus: "Making a great wine is an act of generosity, considering always the one who will taste it. Our mission is to produce limited series of great wines, proudly made in Argentina."

We drive southern end Uco Valley to La Consulta, where we´ll visit Bodega O´Fournier. This is one of Argentina´s new wine superstars; the stunning location and quirky, futuristic architecture is the vision of a Spanish entrepreneur whose house specialty is Tempranillo. Get to know this singular bodega and top wines on a fascinating lunch experience. Urban restaurant, offer a well-balanced, delicious and original menu, which combines two cooking trends that show the cultures coexisting in the winery at all times: Argentine and Mediterranean-Spanish cultures, perfectly matching with Urban, Bcrux and Alfa Crux.

 Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
